Reforestation

Shinyanga District Administrative Secretary has led Municipal citizens, students and employees to plant more than 400 trees at Old Shinyanga Secondary school. Reforestation event was launched by Shinyanga Regional Commissioner Honorable Zainab R.Telack at Mishepo Secondary Schools in Shinyanga District. When the event of planting trees was taking place there at Mishepo, servants of the Regional and district Secretariat, Municipal heads of departments, staff and students of Old Shinyanga secondary school where also joined with District Administrative Secretary in the exercise of planting trees.

The main underlined message was continuity of reforestation in citizen community in order to tackle climate change in the area of the Municipality and the region in general.
